Playing it!

If you search for it, you can find an abundance of tips and advices about how to achieve more in life, how to be happy and how to excel. Some writers have made a career out of this sort of genre. Some are more interesting, some are less. Some are on video and show great passion, like Richard St. John’s “Secrets of success in 8 words, 3 minutes“.

This is not an attempt to compete with any of those tips and advices. I believe happiness and excellence are personal things, thus perceived differently by different people. The road is a little different for each of us. But, I do believe in trying to learn from others and incorporate their lessons into our journey to make it more efficient.

So, I tried to explain my personal view of how to reach happiness and excellence in the E-book. In it, I explain five concepts that, during my short life I learned, are important in the journey to reach happiness and excellence. I use my own stories as well as known quotes and a lot of links to interesting material on the web to illustrate what them.

As I explain in the E-book, the main goal of writing it was to assist myself. Physiological research shows that when people write things down, they are more committed to them. Because I believe in the power of the five concepts I describe in my E-book, I used writing as way for committing myself to them.

Nevertheless, I think the outcome is interesting, mind opening and fun. I think everybody can gain some insight by reading it. But hey, I am not that objective.

What I know for sure is that whoever read it so far had some reaction to it. So I will let you decide for yourself. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to at least try, because you can’t know what you are missing. Perhaps the tip of your life lies in the e-book?

If you like it, I will be happy. I hope you will feel free to comment here on this page. If you don’t like it, I still hope you will feel free to comment here on this page. Even a little comment may shed a new light on my ideas and might create an intelligent discussion. That is what my blog is all about.

You can find the E-book, titled: “Playing It to Excellence and Happiness in Real Life – Five Concepts I Learned by Playing Basketball, Working and just Living” for free download here.

Have fun

I think that what you posted was very logical. But, what about this?
what if you wrote a catchier title? I mean, I don’t
wish to tell you how to run your blog, but suppose you added a title that makes people
want more? I mean Playing it! | The Comparative Advantage is kinda boring.

You could look at Yahoo’s home page and
watch how they write news headlines to grab viewers to open the links.
You might add a related video or a pic or two to grab readers interested about what you’ve written. In my
opinion, it could bring your website a little livelier.
